Are you sick of worrying about a flat battery?

After being stranded more than once with a flat battery, even after fitting a second battery and being unable to find a parasitic drain and with my alternator delivering 14.3v with the engine running I was, at my wits end.
I've invested in a lithium jump starter an "Imazing IM29 2500A" and I have to say its a godsend, the size of a paperback book, capable of jump starting an 8ltr diesel or gasoline engine, with torch and also a power bank to charge phones etc it has gotten me out of bother already, I have no connection to the product or company but I'd recommend carrying one.
One a similar topic has, anyone fitted a solar panel, similar to motor home ones to the roof? Many are low profile and flexible enabling a reasonably discreet fitting, coupled with the decreasing costs and the amount of real estate available on a range rover roof, is it plausible? 2008 L322 Vogue 3.6 TDV8 in Java Black with parchment and Navy interior. 125000mls.

I have a similar one and they are great. Gone are the days of the big heavy battery booster. Mine sits in the RH boot cubbyhole and holds its charge for months. 2011 Vogue TDV8 4.4

Out of interest, does anyone know how many times one of these would start a FF on a single charge ?
I'm guessing the manufacturer blurb will claim one thing , but anyone with real world experience?

I have one and it started my p38 with a 4.6 v8 engine more than 6 times on the trot
Also mine has a lead to charge from the cigar lighter so now I tend to keep it charged up from there

That battery booster pack sounds very good .
I keep looking at similar devices, but haven't bought because I didn't know anyone with an RR who'd used one successfully.
Where did you buy from ?
Amazon UK doesn't appear to have them Paul,

Hi, no I got it from a UK seller on ebay, they are available here in UK, yes recharges from domestic 13a socket or in your car thru cigar socket, so leave it plugged in and it will always be 100 %charged.I checked mine after 2weeks left in the boot unplugged and it still shows 100%. It has 2500A peak power for starting and the internal lithium battery capacity is 25000ma.Comes in a nice rigid case with compartment to hold supplied cables/accessories. Hi All,

I've used a booster/jump pack for years now and the best one I have had is the MAC Tools one.

I've jump started my P38s with it and now I have an L322 I've used it on that too, mainly after going away for a few days and forgetting to switch off the dash cam! Doh!

After getting back from holiday a couple of weeks ago I used it on my wife's supercharged Jag XKR and it fired that up easily too. It's a bit bigger than some of the ones on eBay but I bought it directly from the MAC Tools guy so I had somewhere to return it if it played up. Been nearly two years with it now and it's great. It charges from the car, has numerous connections for laptops etc, a torch, a 19v output for computer charging and two 5v USB outputs. Love it!

The manual recommends contacting SIP Tools if MAC can't help so maybe it's a SIP unit. It wasn't cheap, over a hundred quid, but it's never let me down. Started a 600cc bike that hadn't been run for a year with multiple attempts down to 30% and still worked.

Very Happy

You beat me to it! There are a few on eBay as well from about £99.00 to £140.00 I know you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realise that what you heard is not what I meant.
