Hi Rupert, we really appreciate your comments, thank you very much....as we have only just launched this kit it is a great relief to hear that people are managing to fit them and that they are working well. We've had prototype versions running around for a couple of years with no reliability issues....I have protected the electronics (both ours and Land Rover's) as best I can and the car should be oblivious to the presence of our product.

Just to say this kit is superb - only criticism is the tiny bolt is neither 5mm nor 6mm so had to go digging for some old imperial sockets luckily I had the right size.
Also a few more picks on the steering wheel reassembly would be better and the Center console removal on the facelift models.
If you use your brain you can work all this out just would have made a bit easier. The kit is great though son not taking anything away from that Current stable:

Hi Dan,

Sorry about the hex head bolt...how irritating! It's actually standard M3 (DIN933 I think), which is a 5.5mm AF head. I never thought about spanner size availability but we did debate hex versus socket cap. We went away from socket cap after I lost an allen key into the centre console!

Also take your comments about the instructions, much appreciated....we tried to achieve a balance between reasonable instructions and the works of Tolstoy and the problem always is that the instructions are probably best NOT written by someone who knows what he is doing. Perhaps we should ask which model of car it is going into and supply more comprehensive instructions for that particular model? (it'll mean me taking mine apart again for the photos!)

Will be doing my write up tomorrow as iv pretty much fitted this amazing kit to my car today, it's pretty straight forward I did it all in reverse as it just suited me todo it that way.
It took me longer to get the airbag off the steering wheel than anything else you do need an exact tool I made a nice one from a spare electrical screw driver with a bit filed out the flat blade it worked a treat.

As a time served electronics engineer I'm very impressed with the whole thing I would as previously mentioned redo the fitting instructions

Label each plug showing on a photo where it attaches then I truly believe it's a fool proof kit and truly plug and play.

Will refit my air bag tomorrow and test at the same time will take some extra photos showing my labeling idea and the tool I made for the air bag and the exact angle needed for it to work.

This truly is a must have mod thanks guys for all your hard work and R and D.

Thank you again for your kind comments and helpful suggestions. As may be obvious, these are the first batch of kits and so some issues are to be expected I suppose. Learning from everyone's experiences is very valuable and we will endeavour to address all of the concerns expressed. Labelling is certainly a possibility, though 'better' illustrations might just do the trick for us.

Good stuff although the gen1 l322 console top is so easy to take off mine was off on a weekly occurrence for one reason or another I felt - the new style center I couldn’t even find instructions how to do it and is a far bigger ball ache - these instructions in clarity would be invaluable Current stable:

Anyone installed the paddles on a 2008 (2007-2009) 3.6? I have the kit but am a bit unclear about removing the HEVAC and the clock panels. Does it become obvious once the console side panels are removed?

Any advice would be appreciated.
