I have a Samsung Galaxy A70 and the Mrs has a Samsung S10.
I couldn't see this as an issue but the car can't find any of the phones,
This is the only thing I have found wrong with the car so its really doing my head in.

Neither phone is particularly new. There is no way they don't support the Handsfree protocol. I'd say the fault is with your bluetooth module. Did you scan for any fault codes?

No joy with the fault codes, had a friend scan it last night but couldn't see anything obvious.
Does a 2011 Range rover use the same bluetooth module, someone at my local has one and I might be able to swap the unit over between cars to check if its an easy job to do. 2011 Vogue 4.4 TDV8

Had a quick look on the search function, but can't see anything with a similar problem. I don't take too many calls while driving and its rare I'm in the car on my own anyway.
Not sure where I go from here with the bluetooth, I'll p[rob just forget the car even has it. 2011 Vogue 4.4 TDV8

It’s the phones, Samsung are very picky when it comes to older Bluetooth systems, our trucks in work have Bluetooth and drivers with Samsung have no end of trouble.

I looked into it and it seems Samsung phones Bluetooth software doesn’t have the older protocols in it.

Try another make phone as see if that’s the same to make sure it’s not the Bluetooth module but I’m 99% sure it’s the phone that’s the problem.

Thanks for all the help on this issue.

Finally got it all working,

Checked a few different phones to start with, nothing worked, so I took a closer look at the module in the boot.
I did notice when I unplugged the module the radio tuned off, as soon as I plugged it all back in the phone connected straight away.
I did notice that there was an issue with reception on my drive in this morning.

I'm just glad that I have finally got to the bottom of the issue. 2011 Vogue 4.4 TDV8

Okay so not all working as I first thought.
Will work all fine for a day, then will not connect I have to unpair the car from the phone, unplug the phone module only the large connector, wait a second and reconnect the wires, then the car will reconnect straight away.

Not sure if it could cause an issue but before I bought the car the garage changed the battery. 2011 Vogue 4.4 TDV8
