Remembering your Loved Ones

Slighty bizarre topic , but thought i would just let you know what we did when the wife's mother passed away a few year back.

Instead of just scattering her ashes in the local graveyard , we got a local Artist up here in Glasgow to mix up her ashes with paint put them on a canvas he then poured a mixture of some sort over the canvas and ashes then set fire to them.

With the end result being

He managed to do 4 of these in different colours for her sister and two brothers .........

What a great idea MICK...

Found out earlier that we have an artist who does a very similar thing down near us...

...mentioned it to my mother in law during sunday lunch today - however, she didn't seem too impressed when I told her that I'd booked her in with him for next Thursday week!?! Wink

Rolling Eyes Sorry MICK - I genuinely hope that I haven't offended you in any way with my little joke - but I think, by now, we've established we share the same sense of humour!
