Re badge to SV

Hi

Need opinion. Will it be a bad idea if I remove the factory badge and install SV ?

I was thinking of doing it as it would make the car look cooler but someone told me it might devalue the car as I am removing factory badges.

The original badges are simply stuck-on. So you could take them off and refit them later on when you part with it.

Now, fitting an SV badge on a non-SV car is another story (Would you get an H&M quilted jacket embroidered with a Barbour logos to be 'cooler'?) l=Oo\________/oO=l l:OolΞΞΞΞΞΞΞloO:l

Its your car sir... Do as you wish!

Mine started life as an AB car so is (in my mind) as close to an SV as you can get, that's who used to build the AB range anyway! Thumbs Up

Sorry to jump on the thread, but my L322 has no rear lettering, I believe thy all should say Range Rover on the back but this is missing from mine and to me looks a little missing so much I might have to get new lettering for it. 2011 Vogue 4.4 TDV8

Just an interesting fact that a genuine set of front and back Range Rover decals for the SV autobiography are £ 1500 !

I think the newer style lights help with the "clean" look as well. Anyway I'm not sure why you're asking it's your car so do what you want. Geoff

Point of asking the question was if it is silly to badge it differently. Some people said it is silly. Seems not anyone else has made such a change. I don't want to come out as tasteless.

I wanted an SV to begin with but could not find one in the colour I wanted. So went with a topnotch Autobiography.

Is it true that SV has a Dynamic mode that makes the exhaust louder ?

As far as I’m aware, only the Sport SVR has the valved exhaust.
