Soft rubber at base of windscreen near bonnet hinges

Giving the engine bay a clean out today and noticed the very soft rubber near the base of the bonnet hinges on either side that appear to be cushioning the wiper cover etc on either side. Both sides soaked up a huge amount of moisture as the water flows down the windscreen. Mine also appeared like they were starting to break down. Anybody else looked at this area? 2017 Range Rover Vogue V6 Diesel

these sound like the L322 bonnet foam inserts that are prone to the same water retention problem..

Thanks Stan. Mine have soaked up the oil and moisture either side and I've noticed them breaking down. I'd agree with one of the posts that they are probably good for 3 years. 2017 Range Rover Vogue V6 Diesel
