How much is the crankshaft pulley dancing around? The rubber inserts in damper pulleys (not specifically the 4.4's) can deteriorate. |

Doesn't seem to be much movement but I'll check again as I wasnt aware there was an issue with them thanks |

What was the problem that Craig highlighted years ago that causes the edge of the belt to rub , chaff and fail?

The common problem is due to a worn tensioner and yours has since been replaced. |
