'TAILGATE OPEN' hopefully an easy one...

Hi all, the majority of times when I set off on a journey I get a 'TAILGATE OPEN' warning on the dash even if when I check, it is actually locked shut.
Is it a case of slightly adjusting the latch and if so is the sensor on the upper or lower tailgate?

It's a 2005 TD6 if that makes any difference. Thanks in advance.

take the panels off and see if there are any loose connections or broken wires.. ... - .- -.
