Anyone know What this plug is for?

Any ideas?

Installing my deployable side steps and fished the harness through on this side and was about to start putting it all back together and then saw this plug?? I didn’t disconnect it. Hoping I didn’t pull it off while wresting to get the trim panels off etc 2014 FF Autobiography 5.0 SC

My rear seats have the works. Heat/cooled/massage/moving/reclinging etc. it’s all works. I noticed that The plug is only On the driver (USA) side....wasn’t one on passenger. Also I don’t recall disconnecting it...but thought I could have wresting all the trim. However I did not see the plug that this would plug into so it’s almost like just a pre-wiring for something....I just don’t know what since it has basically every option you can get 2014 FF Autobiography 5.0 SC

That would be where the wade sensing module lives.... do you have that option? 2017 - L405 SC - WOW! just WOW!

That’s a good question haha. How would I know (without going into water haha)?

I don’t see a module in there that it would plug into. I just saw the plug floating around 2014 FF Autobiography 5.0 SC

Can’t help you with your plug im afraid. But I found a random plug while fitting my illuminated tread plates ( passenger side centre pillar. Bet there’s absolutely loads of random unused plugs on our L405’s

Looks quite a lot like the plug pushed into this module (General Proximity Module - used for the wade sensing).

Do you have wade-sending on your car? - Look under the 4x4 menu on the dash, I guess.

That does look like it! I do recall that rectangle box underneath it ill have to check my 4x4 screen....didn’t know it would show up there. I must not have it bc I don’t recall seeing anything when I last looked at the 4x4 screen.

What does it do? Tell you when you’re getting close to the depth limit? Since it’s prewired I wonder if it’s worth getting the module? I don’t really plan to go off-roading though 2014 FF Autobiography 5.0 SC

Maybe I can still sell the harness for a ridiculously crazy uncharge like the respirator....and just quarantine myself (since I don’t need it). Ok enough covid jokes. It’s a serious thing right now. 2014 FF Autobiography 5.0 SC
