SORN

Is anyone else considering taking their car off the road until the dreaded Coronavirus situation settles down?

Given I’m paying £50 a month, I think it’s worth considering. Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

Too many cars costing money at the moment.

Currently have at home

1 x L405
1 x D4
1 x BMW M3
1 x Fiat 500x
1 x Renault Master
1 x Toyota Hilux.

All T & T

All insured.

It’s weird went to pick up some diesel for the digger earlier (doing my garden not working) and there was NO ONE on the road.

I could Sorn them all, just keep the ......... D4 going. It’s the Swiss arm knife of cars. If there is one out of the pile I would keep running at the mo, that would be it. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

When I SORN'd my P38 recently you couldn't re-tax online for 5 days, you had to visit a post office in this period.

Yep, just joined the SORN club now too. Tax too expensive having it sat there in the driveway doing sod all for the next few months. 09 RR Westminster 3.6TDV8 - Stornoway Grey / Black interior - now gone (sad face)

CBA'd to save a few quid a month. And I'd probably forget to retax it when the lockdown is over Laughing

About to check with insurers. However in my case it's at the top end of the driveway behind two other cars and the ignition is disabled via the tracker, so unless they get a transporter up my driveway and past two other cars, theft ain't happening.

Still could be set fire to I suppose. 09 RR Westminster 3.6TDV8 - Stornoway Grey / Black interior - now gone (sad face)

Should be fine.

According to Admiral, you could even downgrade to Third Party, Fire & Theft -
