This is a F****g Disgrace!!!

I am truly shocked at this!! I knew these primadonnas were paid an inordinate amount to kick a bag of wind around a field for 90 minutes each week, but in the current situation this is bloody disgraceful!!!!

PREMIER LEAGUE'S TOP EARNERS
1 David de Gea (Manchester United) - £375,000
2 = Raheem Sterling (Manchester City) - £300,000
2 = Mesut Ozil (Arsenal) - £300,000
3 Paul Pogba (Manchester United) - £290,000
4 Kevin De Bruyne (Manchester City) -£280,000
5 Anthony Martial (Manchester United) - £250,000
6 Sergio Aguero (Manchester City) - £220,000
7 = Harry Kane (Tottenham) - £200,000
7 = Mohamed Salah (Liverpool) - £200,000
7 = Marcus Rashford (Manchester United) - £200,000
8 Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (Arsenal) - £198,000
9 Harry Maguire (Manchester United) - £189,904
10 Alexandre Lacazette (Arsenal) - £170,000

Thre Hundred and Seventy Five Thousand pounds a WEEK!!! That is £19.5 MILLION a Year!!!

They ALL should be forced to give 95% of it IMMEDIATELY to the NHS.

Bastards!!!!!

Paul, that’s not even the half of it. An average squad player in the Premier League or Championship will be getting min £10k per week. This to someone who isn’t even guaranteed a place in the team. For years many football followers like me have thought it absurd, but we follow teams much lower down the food chain, where wages are more normal. My team, (Hereford) actually folded in 2014 and reformed, now as a part time club in a lower league. I agree those prem prima Donna’s really need to have a look at themselves. Don’t even get me started on the agents.......

It's just market forces at work - if people are dumb enough to pay the ticket prices, then the wages will keep going up as international competition increases.

Taxing them properly would be a good start - and that is one thing that is likely to get better after this - everyone on PAYE and none of this one man corporation lark.

Most high earners pay is related to results achieved, on that basis 99% of premier league players would earn sweet FA

It’s absurd.

Wonder if they have tried to furlough them..... get the gov to pay them 80%.....

They should as you say pocket what they have had and donate all their wages for the next 3 months to the “help the country pot” There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Become a football player! That's the going rate Thumbs Up If not then leave them alone, they don't determine the value. The media/supporters do,,,,,

As long as the average Onslow is willing to pay....at least it is market driven. These career Politicians are costing the country much more and nobody even likes to look at them.

I find football tedious but do not care what they are paid. What is totally unacceptable is the clubs getting probably millions of pounds in state subsidy in the form of furlough pay for non player staff so that they can keep the player staff on those sort of salaries.
Simple solution, if anyone in any organisation is paid more than the prime minister each month then the organisation cant claim any job retention funds from the state. letters not necessarily in the right order

Dr Rob - Thank God I am not alone! I can think of nothing worse than paying to watch a bunch of spoilt millionaires kick a ball around for an hour!

When I was growing up in East London in the early 1970’s my mother had 7 brothers who were all football mad. We lived not far from Upton Park so most people were West Ham fans. My uncles would constantly quiz me about who my favourite players were and As I really only knew one name I would always reply “Bobby Moore!” They would then, with a look of disappointment in their eyes, explain to me that Bobby didn’t play for West Ham...

I once over heard one of my uncles chatting with my mum regarding my lack of interest in football. He actually asked her if I was OK mentally as it was unnatural for a lad of my age not to be interested in football......

I think that the level of footballers wages are immoral and offensive.

Jim

You realise he doesn’t earn all that much pay as a PM! His “other” incomes dwarf the PM’s salary some what sir 😗
