One of the best bits was the discussion of planned maintenance to avoid costly future problems.

I think he may he mentioned cam belt replacement (that might have been the rr sport review [shudder] 4.4 has a chain?) and replacing gearbox oil.

Wondered if we could have a thread (ideally priority or sticky topic) on the planned maintenance we should consider and at what mileage beyond what is done in the service.

Watched it before and had my nose put out of joint early on when he said "the Autobiography model was all a bit unnecessary" the one you need is the VSE...

Hmmm, i bet i can guess what his wife is like then

weeeeeell he's probably got a point. I love my Autobiography but i can see that people who haven't had one could see it as a bit unnecessary on the bang for buck scale. He points out the leather head lining and he's kinda right it is a bit unnecessary - nice but not essential really. He does say you get used to the extras on the SE pretty quickly and would miss them so i think probably the same on the AU version.

I was more interested in the planned maintenance comments - things we can do to avoid more costly problems later. --
