Interior Roof Light

I need to get a replacement front light unit. There are plenty of cream ones around but no black. There is a black rear roof light on ebay with the white plug.

Will it work in the front? Not sure if there is a difference between the black and white plugs. 2011 4.4tdv8 Vogue

the rears are different to the front...you can replace just the light lens unit if that helps... ... - .- -.
