Pre-purchase questions 2011 TDV8 4.4

Hi guys, looking at a 60,000km 2011 tdv8 which on a pre-inspection picked up the smoke issue from the larger turbo drain problem as well as some intermittent seat control problems.

How big an issue is the turbo drain and is it worth fixing it if we plan a lot of hwy driving.

Also, how hard are seat control and fan problems to fix?

Cheers guys.

The oil smell was luckily identified by the Pre-purchase inspection and will be fixed by the dealer as a condition of purchase.

I guess my question is if the turbo drain issue can be lived with or must be fixed to not damage the engine.

Boot it every time you drive it to avoid oil build up. Some do accumulate, some don't. Variable. 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"

This one definitely smokes when you floor it. It was driven by old people about 6000km a year with oil changes every year so great service history. Just this smoking issue.

I guess if is more cosmetic than an actual potential issue, I can probably live with it. We drive daily on a motorway so a quick burst of speed every day might sort it out.

Prob been shunted around the sellers forcourt and done short journeys recently.

A good run should clear the smoke issue, unless there is something else causing it....
