Just received a set. What's the trick for getting the mirror caps off? Have watched several videos, and they all show prying in a different spot. The service manual shows removing the mirror glass to access the clips? Help?

I would definitely recommend using a plastic trim removal tool and follow the instructions as per Stan's recommendation (the powerfuluk video) Thumbs Up SDV8 AB MY 2019

What would irk is that they aren’t in time with the front indicators......

When I did my driving test you had to give hand signals. Initially the only mechanical/light signal which was legal was the semaphore arm type direction indicator.

Flashing indicators? Smacks of extraterrestrials!

AFAIK indicators must flash in unison - unless of course the C & U Regs have been changed to suit the use of sequential indicators & auxiliary lights used singly such as those annoying cornering lights for cars with rubbish headlamps &/or drivers that need a trip to Specsavers. 2003 Range Rover Vogue TD6

My L405 has cornering lights - not sure whether you can turn them off, but nothing obvious on the car menus...

Audi have been using dynamic indicators since around 2013 so i'm surprised that you being a yorkie muncher you havnt noticed them sooner...

and cornering lights have been used the 1960's... Rolling Eyes ... - .- -.

I've never really fancied the sweeping indicators on mirrors (and you have to buy them). But obviously my car does have cornering lights and despite initially not liking them I wouldn't be without them now as they do light up hedgerows and ditches at night which my forward pointing headlights miss. I know some people don't like them but I'm pretty sure they don't infringe any regulations, if they did thousands of cars would fail the MOT Geoff
