It looks nice for quite a while...

Interior fully valeted, all leather fed, (took a whole bottle... ) Mats deep cleaned, door shuts cleaned...

Needs a little bit more doing and it will be how I want it, glad to say it is in exceptional condition under all that muck, the leather is feeling nice and supple, I'll feed it a few more times over the next few weeks...

Doesn't look any better than the first photos but it's much cleaner now... drivers mat looks off colour here, looks fine in the flesh..!

Not sure if it has the same compressor as the 4.4 TDV8, but that has a bit of a known issue with a valve. Mine doesn’t always come on.....then it does.... sometimes a few mile in to the journey.

Just a thought.

Mark, it's not got much gas in it, well, just about empty so hopefully the compressor is good, just got to find the leak.. a bit of dye and hopefully all will be revealed...  Pete

I don’t think the semi aniline Leather is any where near as hard wearing as the leather we had in the early cars.... that’s my finding anyway.

Though I think less dye etc is the whole point of them..... I think. 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

Not had to use any, just hide food....

If you need some I have used these people before, always found it good and they have lots of Land Rover colours...

Got it up on a ramp today and everything looks good underneath, no off roaring damage and very little rust..




It’s much easier to sort the exhaust tailpipes and the rear box at this height.. tips polished and box painted with black stone chip







After






Then onto the Aircon machine, did a recovery which pulled out next to nothing but there was some in there, left it on vacuum for an hour, then leak test and it was fine... didn’t believe it so did it twice more, still showing no leaks..

Refilled with 930g of R134a and oil and it’s cold as ice..

I'm jealous of anyone with a mate with a ramp.

Need more mates with ramps.

A friend of my son has offered me the occasional use of his, which has a SWL of 3 tonnes.
I haven’t needed to take up his offer yet, but have doubts if it is rated high enough.

Greg, yeah, and one with a lift and an aircon machine is even better...

Mike, I think Bendpac rate them in pounds IIRC this one is 9000lb so about 4 1/2 tons..

You should be OK on a 3 ton, just jack it a bit and see how it goes!! Pete
