He should have my job! He could earn a fortune fixing cars by simply cycling the ignition key

well at least every pannel has the same colour and everyone knows where you are, something for the jaleous husband.

Overheating gearbox caused by sludge in the bottom of the engine rad where the gearbox oil cooler is, you will probably need a new rad as they are next to impossible to clean, probably needs a new oil cooler thermostat as well, and the gearbox oil needs changing quick as when it gets hot it breaks down very quickly... You can test this out with an IID tool or similar and read the gearbox oil temp in live values when going uphill...  Pete

yikes, just been on a run, and IID reported 138 deg temps - time to get my hands dirty - I already have the radiator, just having a problem with the top rad hose not fitting it properly ( its one of those quick fit types JLR use )

New gearbox oil (needs changing asap as when it gets hot it breaks down very quickly) Mobil LT71141

New auto gearbox oil cooler £49

New BEHR Thermostat 88° £70
