EGR errors and EML coming on

I blanked my EGRs out quite some time ago and seem fine, no errors until a few weeks ago, when I started seeing the yellow EML light come on in the dashboard. I've traced this to code P140E-21 (2F), indicating an EGR issue. I also get other EGR related errors, such as P045C-00 and P140A-21.

I guess my next plan of attack would be to remap the EGRs out to hopefully stop these errors. My quandry at the moment is that I have a Bluefin remap on my car and have been told that that BAS EGR map would over-write this.

This got me wondering, when a remap is applied, does the entire map get over-written, or is it just the specific parameters? I assume there's a checksum to ensure the map has been applied correctly, in which case, it would be the entire map, so as an example, if I apply the BAS EGR remap and then reapply my Bluefin map, the BAS settings would be lost?

The ultimate solution then would be to have a remap with both options in the same map? Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue
