What did you buy for your FFRR today?

I'll start. I haven't actually picked it up yet (6 July, hopefully) but I bought a Nextbase 422GW dashcam with add-on rear camera and hardwire kit.

I was once involved in a crash-forcash incident in my D2 and my dashcam footage not only saved my no claims discount it put 4 scumbags away for between 6 months and 4 years. If you haven't got one yet do yourself a favour and get one.

Dunc. The life you have is the only one you'll get; make the most of it.

A full set of style 101 21” wheels with verde tyres for my L322. Wheels are probably now worth more than the car. Thud

New 3rd brake light. Noticed the other day that half the lights had gone out on the old one, OCD won't stand for that! Drives:

Same here! Mine works but it's faded and a bit warped. Tried to sand it and clear coat it but I'm not happy with the results. New one will take ages to arrive but it's genuine, brand new and at a happy price...

I eventually got round to a phone mount.

I bout a Brodit clip that is vehicle specific - https://www.brodit.co.uk/brodit/vehicles/L...654909.htm
(I bought another for my Mini at the same time)

Then I butchered another phone cradle to fasten onto it as I wanted a wireless charger cradle & Brodit don't do one of those.

I'm pleased with the results - it means my phone is now broadly within eye range and charges when I'm on the move without me having to be super careful putting it in & out of the cradle.

Should have done it years ago......
