Wen,t in search on mine this afternoon the valve is to the left of the engine looking into the engine compartment. It is high up near top of radiator, good pictures if modified valve on Baltic Blues post on one of the attachments.

Thats all well and good BUT it does hammer the DPF, mine when given the boot raised the soot level by 2.8g in 30 seconds of clearing it. BMW i3 Electric Car
