If your screen and number of buttons is the same as in the link then you definitely have the MOST system. The earlier models had additional buttons.

No need to look in the cubbyhole. John

Yes mine is the same as the image, with the less bottons.

Does that mean dont even try to change the headunit then? Bar bypassing the amp from the boot to the front?

That Android system is for the earlier models. What are you trying to achieve?

PS. Have a look here for some information. https://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/topic44977.html John

8 plugs changed [27/07/2020]
Cylinder 6 Coil Pack changed [27/07/2020]
Two new number plate bulbs [27/07/2020]
Original centre caps fitted [25/07/2020]
New wheel bolt covers fitted [25/07/2020]

Some things noted. Oil in the cylinders, not a worrying amount but its still there so I think I'll need some new gaskets somewhere. After the plugs were fitted though the smoke filled my driveway lol

Short drive up the road and all is well thankfully.

Gas struts on the bonnet need replaced, sore head tonight after it come down on it during a light breeze. So thats added to the list.

Some more parts ordered so will keep updating as I go.

Thanks

Chris

Update 14/08/2020

Found some rot on the sills at the rear passenger doors.

Couldn't be bothered worrying about it so its going in this Tuesday to have it all cut out and new stuff welded in, only way to tackle it properly.

Rear sills, rear arches and wheel Wells into cabin will all be cut away.

So tempted to 2006 facelift it as my indicator lenses are fogging up and have broken clips so might just facelift next month as I have sourced the parts relatively cheap.

The spends continue ...

Oh and a new battery this month also courtesy of GSF

Thanks

Chris

Update 30/08/2020

Oil and Filter change today at 72000 miles.

All welding has been completed. All new rear sills both sides. Had to have new jacking points fabricated also. I also got the lower wheel wells cut out and replaced. All have been tiger sealed and are awaiting paint some time in the next week or 2.

I had the inner and outer arches grinded back too just incase, thankfully just surface rust from a stone chip on the passenger side. These have been treated and sealed also. Will get it all painted at once including ........

2007 facelift kit which I just purchased. Headlights, bumper, washer jets, high pressure water pump and lower grills

Bought a few axillary parts new from BritishParts. New bottom valance for the front bumper and mid fin cover.

Need to sort wiring harness for the headlights from PowerfulUKLtd

Also need 2006 onwards plastic mounting bracket for the bumper too so if anyone has one that would be great.

Pics to follow
