Mines like it too, but it looks like some clips/fixings are missing.

Will sort it when the more important job of battery still being discharged overnight is sorted. Must have some weird electrical fault. 2003 Range Rover Vogue TD6

Not in this part of the world - they had to be reminded what the words "service" & "customer" meant regarding replacing the screen on Mrs C's Kuga.

Yet another example of poor customer communication. 2003 Range Rover Vogue TD6

Hi Brian.

Sorry to hear about your experience as well. Mine was like it when I bought it as the screen had been changed a long while back.

I'm going to order a new panel plus the various fixings and return what I don't need.

Can you share a photo of the issue with your cars scuttle panel?

Best.

G

So after much ado about bascially nothing, it turned out to have been the rather fragile plastic "snap together locating pins" having been snapped off whilst the new windscreen was being fitted for the previous owner.

There is nothing to be done but buy a new scuttle panel as this is the only way it will seal correctly against the windscreen.

No amount of sealer will prevent it from buckling and distorting in the summer heat.

It is a one man job but, BEWARE the female receptor cups the scuttle panel clips into (white plastic, body mounted) are free of obstructions like broken plastic clips!
You only get one shot at this and if you try to force it home thinking it will snap into place you will break the clip off and will be back to square one again.
Added to this, the new panel comes with a very sticky black sealer already applied and trying to reposition can be a bit messy.
