United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Autobiography 5.0 SC V8 Santorini Black
Reverse Facelift, 2011 - 2002

Happened across this in eBay completed listings, hopefully it’ has not already been posted!

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Range-Rover-Vog...7675.l2557

It appears to have had an interesting history as it’s a Cat N, and had a replacement VIN.

What strikes me though, is I’ve never seen a later car converted to look like an earlier one! The early light units are not plug and play, so it can’t just have been done because those parts are cheaper, it would have required work to do so!

United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Stornoway Grey

how bizarre!

some people do get weird ideas!
maybe they prefer the classic look but the 2011 drivetrain + interior?

how / why would you do a replacement vin?
. Cheers, Greg

England 2015 Range Rover SVAutobiography SDV8 Loire Blue

I read the advert as, the thieves changed the VIN ie they rung it! The VIN was then replaced "from the stolen one to the genuine one" Thumbs Up

It's amazing how good that front end still looks, far more so than the fussier mid-era ones with all the little trinkets and details they added in.

I’ve always liked the early car. The Classic reborn.... in its truest form.

I suspect that there was more missing than they let on in the advert, when it was stolen. You can pick up early parts very cheaply, later facelift parts demand a premium. Suggests a budget rebuild maybe? Rob 05 L322 4.2SC
