always wondered why the front plate is mounted on the bumper and not put on the black trim..

In my opinion it looks better on the bumper, kinda fits between the two grills...

I think it’s where they put it to try and make the L405 look as good as the L322 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

Rip taking aside, I assume too that it’s for airflow, but are there not guidelines for where it needs to be positioned, height wise? Or is that just lights?

I was going to say that, the requirement to have a front number plate in the UK is a pain. Who knows things may change when we BREXIT.

Why should Brexit make a difference? All countries can set their own standards for number plates. Good example is Italian plates where the front is a miniature version. John
