Hello there wondering if anyone might be able to help me.

A few days ago my dash started throwing up loads of faults. Started with a camera system fail, the moved onto many others. The dash then started not coming on, the indicator lights on the dash would randomly flash up and not flash when the indicators were on, amongst many other warning lights. It’s a bit like a mobile disco!

I thought it might be the main battery so I have just replaced this, but it’s still throwing up all the failures.

Does anyone have any idea what this could be?

Thanks for the replies guys. They kept the battery terminals live when they did the switch over by hooking a backup battery to the leads, but then it was just a straight in and out swap. Nothing was reset as such.

I noticed when I just turned it off that the display shut down, but then random warning lights came on and off that I haven't seen before.

I note the alternator and I will get that checked, but the battery was fully charged that was fitted so I would have thought it would solve the issue even for just an hour of driving or so.

I have just had a diagnostics run at my local garage and they say that the dash pack has failed and only Land Rover can fix it. Has anyone any ideas on this?

I would be tempted to do a "power down reset" IE disconnect the +ve lead for a min or 2 . Tracker will phone you unless you preempt it .

Put a multimeter on the power terminals under the bonnet and find the voltage whilst the engine is running .

when you put the new battery in did they tell the power gateway module a new battery was fitted - if the previous battery was failing and you haven't told the car a new battery has been fitted you could get these issues Current Fleet:-
