VSE in Byron Blue - does vintage tan work?

Just ordered a new VSE for delivery Dec/Jan and asked my wife to help with colour combinations (as I am fairly colour blind). I have had a number of "safe" greys with all black interior and once went with Aintree Green and Sand (which I loved). I have gone for Byron Blue this time and ordered ebony with ebony and walnut finishers. Anyway, question is whether vintage tan and ebony would work instead. I have never seen vintage tab in real life and was worried it is too red. Has anyone got it and if so, would it work with blue? Alternatively, am I just have a senior moment? The current tan is a lot more beige and less orange than the pre-facelift one - better still with a darker blue, though, I think.

thanks Paul....I got that feeling from the website...I had once seen a tan inside (I think it was on an L322) and it looked very orange, to be fair. If they have calmed the colour down then I may try to convince my wife to go to a showroom! 2021 L405 RR Vogue SE D300 (Byron Blue/Black)

I think it will work as Byron blue has a grey tinge to it and as has been said, Vintage tan isn’t as orange as it used to be.

Go on, be a bit different!

I looked at a Vintage Tan and Santorini Black car and it looked really nice, personally I like Vintage Tan and think it looks good on Blue's, Greys and Green.

I just wish the topper, carpets and door trims were Tan as well.

I think it would be a bit much if the top roll and carpets were tan as well, the contrast works better for me. MY23 Panamera E-Hybrid

Go tan. With Byron blue this would be a very ‘classic’ colour combination and will look epic in 20 years time Thumbs Up

And if not that, then how about a navy interior? Anything but Ebony. Ebony is great, but not special like the colourised options. L405 P400e Autobiography (MY2020)... Silicon Silver / Espresso

I hate to say it, but you have probably hit the nail on the head.

Black and black with piano black are very safe (I have had them three times) but the wood scratches as soon as you look at it and the leather doesn't really look "special". I am paying good money for the car, so may be I should get something personal and be brave and enjoy what I want!

I have heard a lot of dealers saying that they can't shift a green car and that you will never re-sell it, but to be honest, the colour never really seemed to make a farthing's difference at trade in time with my green Range Rovers! 2021 L405 RR Vogue SE D300 (Byron Blue/Black)

Is the more orange tan and option to you? That goes very well with dark blue 1995 4.6 v8, green/tan (long gone)

i was trying to steer away from the orange and head more towards the beige/brown. A long time ago I had a BMW Z3 in "Oxford Green II" with "beige" and it was absolutely stunning. Since then, I have always had black just to be safe, but really missed it until I had an L322 VSE in Aintree with sand....since then the itch has set in! 2021 L405 RR Vogue SE D300 (Byron Blue/Black)
