Does any one have the part number for the plug for inspection hole on the GM 5L40E auto. I seem to have lost mine ( not put back by a past mechanic)
I ordered one , but it was for the V8 with the ZF and it doe not fit. Microcat doesn't seem to list a part for the Gm trans on the diesel.

Also shouldn't there be another bolt fitted on the bottom of the Bellhousing,(See pic) has the previous mechanic also forgotton that, or is it a drain hole?

he stripped it, and he didn't put it on
