Did you get some complementary Faraday pouches earlier this year from LV?

I did! Not used them as I keep my keys in a safe when not in my pocket.

My insurance renewed with them in August modest increase despite a February claim of £4000.00 under screen insurance ( screen and panoramic roof taken out by stray piece of angle iron) ... £75.00 glass contribution claim. Very impressed.

Must of been my fault they are refusing FFRR... sorry chaps.... Embarassed

& they sent two faraday pouches Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc

Ive also posted this elsewhere but,

This LV Insurance problem is quite confusing. I have 4 cars on one policy with LV, one of those cars being my RR and I have received my renewal quote and will be automatically renewing on 7th November. There has been no communication that they are not insuring my RR.

Could it be that certain parts of the UK are not being covered or a certain model (s) but I am definitely going to be covered Confused 19MY SVA-Dynamic Spectral Chromoflair Blue but colour not available in profile

Probably down to a post-code lottery. If your area has been more prone to thefts, they’ll see you as a more likely risk. Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue
Had- 2008 TDV8 Vogue SE in Java black
Had - 2007 S/C in Stornoway Grey

I got that LV letter too. My post code is highest risk rating and I do not have a drive. LV was cheapest last year (£1700, full no claims, 50 yrs old, not a rock star or racing driver)... not sure what this year’s premium will be, but it’s only money, you can’t take it with you! L405 P400e Autobiography (MY2020)... Got mine yesterday as well.

Bit miffed as LV was really, can’t remember exact figure £350 ish (Also 50 with full NCB and off road parking) Went on confused.com and the cheapest I can find is AXA at £612.

I’ve just received my renewal from LV and they will insure my FF for another year.

11% hike in the premium (nice little earner if you can get it Whistle ) And with interest rates at historical lows, they’ll only charge me 9% for the privilege of paying monthly Laughing

I’ve got a month to see if it’s worth jumping ship.

I’m going wrong somewhere, I’ve run my own business for nearly 30 years and haven’t got near 11% in 10 years, let alone 1 Big Cry

LV= had declined to renew me. I have taken a policy with Santander, 35% cheaper than LV= was last year and the total excess significantly lower too. L405 P400e Autobiography (MY2020)... Silicon Silver / Espresso

We’ll there’s a surprise Razz Just done a Go-compare which returned 56 quotes, 29 of them were cheaper than LV.

That wasn’t the surprise. The cheapest 3 were over 50% cheaper Shocked

I’ve been around long enough to know cheapest isn’t always the best and will probably go for 4th on the list which was still nearly £300 cheaper than LV but with a sensible excess, the other 3 all had an expensive excess.

So after getting my FF and seeing my insurance hiked compared to my D4, 12 months later it’s now cheaper than my D4.
I just don’t get insurance and still think I must have filled the form in wrong Confused
