Cruise Control Error

Hi I’ve noticed my Cruise Control always allows the car to travel 1 mph faster than what I have set (set at 70mph car will sit at 71mph) anyone else notice this? This is my first Range Rover but every other car I’ve ever owned will sit at the exact speed set.

You prob need to set it just before you want it.

You can just press the minus button on the steering wheel to reduce the set speed fractionally.

Mine is probably similar, think it sets when I hit the button. Not far off. I’ll try and check next time I’m out.

I have adaptive cruise, so it varies sometimes anyway.

Many thanks for the reply’s, It’s not a problem, I can adjust as you say but is this just a quirk of Range Rovers? Every other car I’ve owned has traveled at the speed set, not 1mph above it, the centre of the dashboard tells me I’ve set the cruise control at 70mph then the digital speedo shows 71mph. I thought there might be some kind of calibration I could preform to get them to match.
