That 1970 Cadillac coupe de ville - is it one of those American cars with a plus 8 litre V8 that makes as much power as a modern 1.6 litre diesel?

Not mine regretfully. On Facebook marketplace. I do love these 70s tanks tho.

Don’t know the engine details but it’s about style and cruisin’ innit??

As it's 1970, that was before they went silly with emissions and power. I've just looked it up and the 7.7 litre engine in that car has 375hp and 525lb ft torque, so not too shabby and it 'only' weighs 2.1 tonnes. But I wonder how many of the horses have escaped in the last 50 years.

It's 5.7m long, not ideal for the UK!

If you look at the late 70s and early 80s then they are dreadful e.g. 6.0 V8 Cadillac had 145hp then through the 80s they reduced the engine size, which ended up with a 4.4 V8 having 125hp in a car weighing 1800kg+ MY23 Panamera E-Hybrid

We are hoping that we will get as many as possible of the lost ponies back after a proper service, and cleaning of the fuel tank.

Thus far we have replaced air filter, fuel filter, oil filter, engine oil, spark plugs, spark plug wires / ignition leads, and am awaiting the cleaned fuel tank so we can test the effect of the service.

@Kurtverbose, technology has moved quite far from 1969; however, just the relaxed manner in which this car apply itself versus a screaming 1.6 is something to experience

Hey, I'm all for relaxed.

The 6.75 in the Rolls maybe only made circa 200bhp, but that was 'adequate'.
