SDV8 - another problem - turbo hose

After having a new off side front drive shaft fitted two weeks ago, I was driving up the A1 yesterday and got the restricted performance notification Big Cry . At the same time it sounded like the blowers in the car were increasing and decreasing with how hard a put my foot on the accelerator. I soon realised that this sound was a whooshing noise coming from the front offside. I managed to nurse the car to safety and called Green Flag. It was diagnosed as a split in the intercooler pipe. However, after it was recovered to the garage they found that the hose had blown off and after refitting it appears fine.

My question does anyone know if this is a sign of something more sinister or have I dodged a bullet? 2019 Autobiography SDV8 Byron blue/black - current

They may have removed it to fit the driveshaft and not tightened the jublee clip up properly And under boost it popped off.

Happened to me on a BMW once, should be OK once re attached, doubt it will have done any permanent damage. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
