Agreed, that looks lovely. Guess time will tell, but if the prep is as good as the finish then you should be good for years to come hopefully.

Can you give an idea of who's done it and the cost? 2011 Vogue SE Tdv8 FFRR

Looks like a cracking job... I’ll watch this post with interest for cost and general impressions as the fear of rust is making me hold off for a bit on 322 searches...

Many thanks... all good points!

The main reason for holding off at present is the wretched Covid situation... I'm currently pretty much working from home, having set up a new business on 1st March... timing, huh?

As such, there is no real 'need' to have money sat in the vehicle with nowhere really to go, nor is it particularly relevant or possible to go looking at various options when we may be close to a better scenario (realistically, unlikely to be much before Q2, 2021) when car viewing (and, hopefully, my need to have an additional car available) will coincide and be far easier to resolve.

Me too to know where SoggyBottoms had that done as I am also in Northants.
I am looking at L322s and every one has had some rust going on in those areas. My brief includes looking at 2008s onwards if service history, paperwork etc adds up.
It would be really great to know how much that job cost and where it was done.
Ron Thumbs Up

Not surprised that Spain weathers keeps rust away Whistle
I think that the problem “newer last less and rust more etc” is because lower material quality. It not just RR things. Recycled materials..
