Rear light casing and MOT

Evening all,

MOT coming up next month and want to know if I need to cough up now or if I can wait for the right price for the rear lights.

Offside rear light housing is broken, not just a crack, but open to the elements. Lights all work fine.

Will it fail on this?

Yes - cracks etc used to be OK provided the beam pattern/light colour was not effected but now the housing itself has to be sound. 2003 Range Rover Vogue TD6
