I need to give a story with this unfortunately

Joined the FFRR fraternity a couple of months ago. Found one that I felt was right only issue was a Suspension Fault that appeared when going from access height to high. Only happened once and when switched off and on worked fine.

Suspension Fault kept reoccurring intermittently when driving off from access. Unfortunately hadn’t purchased Gap iid so didn’t know fault code. Anyway bought new compressor as a precautionary measure, unit arrived and whilst fitting noticed screw threads had not been die’d into end plate, so couldn’t attach to one end off chassis. So swapped end plate from new one and fitted instead. Alas kept getting suspension faults, but car was rising quicker, I think 🤔

Gap arrived and plugged in, fault code said something regarding compressor venting, unfortunately in my excitement with new tool, cleared all the fault codes. Nothing serious I might add.

Used tool to see what firmware was installed, it was still Hitachi !!! So do not know who changed compressor originally, but they didn’t upgrade firmware.

Anyway, that’s my story so have the replaced compressor for sale, sold as spares and repair as really do not want to say it is all perfect. But I know it does pump.

All I want is £25 plus postage costs if someone is interested as replacement or for spares.

Sorry forgot to say, new suspension now perfect with correct firmware. Just a warning to owners having suspension issues, check firmware !!

Hi I may well be interested in your compressor. Will just check which one I have on my 2011 and check firmware. \I have IID tool. Can you outline on here how to check firmware please?
