Fuel burning heater

Good afternoon everyone
I have a new to me 2016 4.4 sdv8 and the fbh doesn’t seem to work.
I’ve tried using it onscreen to set it time control when I go out to it the light is on the dash but no heat
It also takes longer to warm up than my l322 indicating to me that it’s not functioning at all
Any ideas where I should start looking
Ps. I have no remote button to it either
Thanks 2016 4.4 diesel

Yes I get that it needs to be below a certain temperature. But it’s been plenty cool enough up here for sure
I’ll check wiki out

I don't think mine works either. I tried using it when there was ice on the car and the light flashed but nothing else. There should be a pump running but its all quiet. I tried it a couple of times and gave it up as not happening.

I did a bit of reading around it and because the engine isn't going to be running then it needs a certain battery charge before it'll fire up. I replaced my main battery recently but not the auxiliary one. I assume the heater will operate off the main battery but it may not. So I figured it may be a battery voltage to low creating my own non-fire situation.

I’m going to be checking my battery voltage and if need be give them a ctek boost and then try next morning
Can you connect the ctek to the posts under the bonnet? 2016 4.4 diesel

Fuel level needs to be above a certain point too, maybe more than 1/4 tank. 2017 SDV8 Autobiography

My FBH (and everything else inc the tailgate) worked fine when the main battery was at 10v and being backed up by the second battery so don't rely on voltage being the only issue... Thumbs Up Pete
