Northern Ireland 2010 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Java Black

Just bought a 2010 4.4 TDV8. I want remote function with a FBH so my mechanic suggested removing the eberspacher from my old 4x4 and switching it for the Webasto. The water pipes are there, fuel line, sounds good in theory. But I don't know if the Webasto just boils water, or engages with HVAC via CAN bus to warm the cabin, if it does the eberspacher won't simply swap in.
The dealer has quoted £150 for a remote module. Simon C on YT does a really simple install using the the headlights to trigger the FBH, I see others do complicated things in the rear avionics area. Just seems inefficient to pull the Webasto when it's working fine.
