New Oil Cooler and Pipes Needed - 2.5DT P38

My trusty old P38 has developed a bit of an oil leak and after some investigation, it appears to be coming from the pipes going to and from the oil cooler.

After a bit of reading it looks like the best option is to replace the pipes and the cooler all at the same time - does anyone have a recommendation on where to source these? I got stung a few years ago by Rimmer Bros with a faulty oil pump for my D3 so would rather look elsewhere if possible but want one that will last.

Any help appreciated. Thanks

Spain 2012 Range Rover Westminster TDV8 Baltic Blue

I did this repair on my P38 a couple of years back.

I got new pipes and cooler, but the Britcar pipes did not fit the cooler well and I had to abandon them. Turned out the old pipes were still ok and worked far better with the new cooler.

Just be very careful as the cooler and pipes are so soft the threads deform too easily rendering the whole job a disaster.

Try ‘Island 4X4’ or our sponsor, Duckworths, for genuine parts.
