i thought my problems were over
a little clic clic electric relay noise invited me to look again and guess what; found again water; 1cm in the same place i just replace the seat control unit.
i guess the leak that drowned and corroded the first one is still here.
i checked the boot seal like indicated here in the l322 https://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/topic23767...p;start=15
it seems in very good shape.
the liner in the rear back right portion of the roof is wet; and the leather is undulating. i believe the leak may come from the roof. or the boot.
maybe the drain is blocked and forcing water back.. need to check that one asap
if anyone can help telling me where the drains are on the L405 that would be helpful; seen a lot of posts on the l322 but not l405

found the culprit
completely rusted drain connector,
i tried to fix with a tube waiting to find out the definitive parts
and avoiding water to continue to drip while i seek a definitive fix
ideas and recommendations are welcome,

bad news this morning; after fixing the upper gutter connection with a pipe and some silicone; the water goes now in the tube vs the roof liner but still land in the rear footwell.
think i need to replace; or fix or replug the tube; but have no clue where it goes through the C pillar and then ?
any hints or advice appreciated

so if i read this correctly; there is no rear and front drain; only middle that goes through c pilar

Managed to unclog them; and tested water from where the drain ends. the water does fell on the ground outside of the car and not in the footwell. was afraid the body would be clogged too and overfill would go in footwell; but it seems not.

i have put a tube with silicone in the gutter hole; after removing as much rust as possible; and i am letting it dry now until i reconnect it to the original drain tube. will have to do some diameter adaptation.
the hole in the gutter is 12 to 13 mm and the LR tube inlet is more like 15+ 2013 L405 V8 5.0 Aspirated Autobiography
