2nd car/bike

So we all on here as we own a range rover of some sort that's a daily runner. What other vehicles do well occupy.

I've got a suzuki b king as well as a subaru impreza bugeye.

B king is generally a daily bike to and from work

Impreza is more of a trackday/fast road car but that's been a slow process build

Current second vehicle (seem to be using it more though) 300TDI Defender. Had the Classic for many years but sold it a little while ago, which I regret.

My other car, for hooning around in. Has a silly exhaust which makes me smile when I open the taps in sport mode.....

Also used by Mrs S as a daily driver.

Cheers gsxrdave. Not my favourite bike I've owned for comfort but I'm 6ft 7 tall so more suited to fjr1300s but it's def the only bike I've owned that makes you ride it and enjoy the bike.

Love the e36 bmw. Was always a dream car of mine owning an m3 evo

Itโ€™s been quite fun to own the E36. Needed a load of work when I got it as it was a rough runner, but itโ€™s sweet as a nut now. I think when I got it it had been sitting only lightly used causing it to deteriorate, it needed the Vanos, brakes, injectors, cooing system refresh, steering hoses, bushes, and manifolds doing..... along with a new subframe cross brace among other stuff!

Fun to spanner though.

Sounds like its been quite a journey for you mate. Mine started of as a bare shell so had to work my way through it all. Has quite a juicy turbo setup with a garret gt35 rotated turbo. I'm hoping once I've recovered from covid, I can get it to the engine builder to get it sorted in ne England then its gotta go to Plymouth for the mapping and fuel system. Not sure a 4.4 v8 petrol range was the smartest of choice for this journey starting from London ๐Ÿ˜‚ ๐Ÿ˜‚ ๐Ÿ˜‚

I also have a now elderly VX220 which is currently sat in the garage awaiting a big refurb.

And my wife has an old Fiat Panda which is what we mostly use as it's fun, practical and cheap to run.

My passion is more bikes though. I have a BMW K1600GTL and a Triumph Rocket III.

As well as a Honda SP2.

In all truth the most likely vehicle I'd replace is the Range Rover. I bought it as I was doing a house refurb and needed a big trailer, but that project's finished.

Sp2 looks nice mate. My first bike was a 900rrv. Looked more like a mini moto on me at 6ft 7 tall. Friend of mine owns it now tho so I'll see it all sorted one day when he can be bothered to get it running

The manifolds were the biggest PItA. To get them out the AC gear had to come out and the steering linkages, which were all seized, fortunately I didnโ€™t break any studs, and the actual spannering on the downpipes always easy. Finding some and having to pay a grand for some BMw ones was not.....

That said it was a challenge. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿ˜œ
