England 2008 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Java Black
Swapping interior / seat parts

I've just bought a very early 2012 L405 Vogue SE (vin number 22 so about as early as it can be) and the front seats are very tired. The previous owner was quite a large chap and the foam and springs are all in poor condition but the leather is very good.
I thought i'd resolve this by buying a set of seats from a later lower mileage car and putting them in. Unable to find a nice ivory interior, I've bought a black one from a 2017 autobiography. Although they fit and are much more comfortable i want to swap the leather over but the design of the seats and headrests are slightly different.
The seat bases are the same but the backs are not.

Before i strip the seats down to see if it's possibly to swap parts over, has anyone else tried doing something similar?
