Hi there,

Need a price for discs and pads front and rear on a MY11.5 TDV8 with the brembo calipers.

Do I need anything else for the discs and pads?
Is it worth doing the hand brake shoes at the same time?

Car has done 65k and dealer said pads were 50-60% worn and there is a noticeable lip on the discs.

Not a typo I'm afraid, and they're now £206 + the dreaded, and that's after a decent discount from the LR rrp !

Robin is being super helpful and was quick to respond, think he's gonna sort some suspension bushes out for me but I think I'm gonna get the brake consumables elsewhere. Managed to find Brembo discs and Ferodo pads for a good price (well, comparatively ) 2011 Vogue SE Tdv8 FFRR

I recently replaced all discs, pads and hand brake shoes on my 2012 4.4 TDV8.

The biggest issue I encountered was one pin on the offside front Brembo calliper not coming out and having to be destroyed in the process of removing it.

Its worth ordering a new set of Brembo calliper pins together with the discs, pads and handbrake shoes. 2012 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Current

I had an issue with one of mine too. But i have a varied drift set and managed to get it out without destroying it. i just cleaned mine up and put a bit of copper ease on when re-inserting them.

Don’t use copper bases anti seize in/on alloy it causes galling and can make the pins seize, use a zinc based anti seize like Permatex or a ceramic grease �

My bad i called it copper ease as i am old i actually used ceramic grease
