Well I was going to get this on the bench today but suffered a fsr fault last night so investigated that instead. Found the main 12v feed wire burnt in the connector plug so new fsr and plug on order. A job for next week I managed to do a temp repair, also connected my ctek charger in the boot fuse box and plugged it in to my outside power supply just behind my car.

Hopefully going to get back to this some time this week I'm making up a loom so I can bench test it and use the same loom on the car via the remote.

Yep, I saw your retro fit post didnt you connect it up to the petrol tank as well ? The boards have a link you can short for either derv or petrol. I dont fancy dropping the tank to connect to petrol but am happy to fit the small bottle I was planning to use from the start |

You don’t have to drop the tank. The fuel pump assembly has a dip tube fitted from factory. You just have to nip the end off and connect on to the stub. No7 - 2003 V8 Vogue |

Arh makes sense, will keep that in mind if the additional derv bottle becomes an issue.

Iv still got this sitting here on my todo list, I bought a board to replace the existing one in the fuel burning heater and it can run it on petrol or derv. I looked at fitting the fuel pipe from the tank but it seems much easier and safer to use a separate small diesel tank engine bay mounted. All switchable from a remote |

I had a look at my car today. I’ve got the plug in the boot for the receiver but due to it being bloody cold I didn’t look under the bonnet.

It needs a pump, iv got everything sitting here I just didn't get round to fitting it due to major engine overhaul. I will try and find some time to run it all up on the bench. Iv got the power connector in the wheel arch and iv fitted a fuse in the correct place to test power. I really have no excuse not to fit it all.....except its bloody cold. There just ain't enuff hours in the day |
