In my RR the half of the lock that is in the lower bit of the tailgate is loose - this causes the Tailgate Open warning to come on intermittently. I can't get a torx in to tighten the bolts, but at first glance it looks as if I remove the trim from the top edge I might get better access although I am not certain how to remove the fixings - I haven't tried in earnest yet.

. Nipped out between rain showers and just did it, 5 mins, the only thing to watch for is getting the caps off the screws holding the trim in place if you ping them off with a screw driver they seem to travel faster and further than a speeding bullet.| stan Site Moderator Member Since: 13 Jul 2010 Location: a moderate moderated moderator moderating moderately in moderation Posts: 35881
