Side Steps Fitted

Well got round to fitting side steps, not too bad but took longer as decided to take sill covers of and clean and waxoyl underneath first. Very pleased to find everything solid but waxoyl should keep it like that. The existing mud flap brackets were in a right state, had to cut them off. New ones given extra paint and coat of underseal. Not happy with fitting of one of the mud flaps, just can't get it to sit right. Drivers side was difficult to fit, holes just about lined up but step is a little too far away from the mudflap, will need some fettling but can't see easy way of adjusting.

Interesting...... I never took the lower trims off to fit mine, just read your notes...good idea.

Yes it was just for preventative maintenance, allowed me to squirt some waxoyl through the holes and apply bit of underseal. As I said need to tweak them a bit, passenger side mud flap isn't sitting right, and it's bugging me. 2009 Range Rover Vogue 3.6TDV8, Bournville, Parchment/Navy
