Engine remap

Hi Is there any way to tell if my engine has been remapped, Car was in to look at turbo issue and I was asked if the engine had ever been remapped

V8 Diesels go like stink as standard - sub 6.5s 0-60 - definitely the only way to tell would be to read the files 2021 L405 Vogue SE 4.4 V8 DIESEL ~ #17
