Where are all the L322 2012 TDV8's?

I have been looking on-line for a unicorn I think! Tried the usual sites for a FSH 2012 TDV8 with reasonable mileage but well looked after. Prices seem to vary between £11k and £20k, that's one heck of a difference. OK dealers have to make their mark up. Corris Grey ( or Blue ) is the colour I prefer, with a tow bar and Vogue SE spec. What do you guys think is a reasonable price to pay for a nice one with no faults, good matching tyres fsh etc?
What about mileage? I only drive 5000 miles a year so a 70000 miler would keep me going for a few years before hitting 100k.
I'm keeping a look out on here as there seems to be some knowledgeable folk who know how to look after their cars. Bow down
Unicorns, where are you?

The Westminster came out as the run out model, sitting between Vogue and Vogue SE spec, so you will find hardly any 2012 Vogue SE cars.

Newest getting on for 10 years old, so mileage will be creeping towards 100k on most, if not beyond.

Dealers prob want a premium for what they see as a lower mileage car. 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

Thanks for that information about the Westminster, I didn't know that. I'll widen my search and see what come up. Do Westminsters have adaptive cruise control and all all the other essential toys, do you know?

England 2005 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Zambezi Silver

I think that folk who have a late model L322 have hung on to them as long term cars. With all the economic uncertainty along with the push towards electric and alternative fuels for cars I think that if you are driving around in a 2012 RR then you would be loath to change.

I went from a 2018 RRS to a 2005 L322 precisely due to the reasons above.

Jim

That's interesting Jim. Big change from a 2018 to a 2005. I suppose with an older car you have less to lose if the Government screws all the old diesels. I think they will be on the road and serviceable for a good while yet. It will take years to get the charging infrastructure where it is fit for purpose. My other car is electric and the FF is the polar opposite, so carbon neutral, in my eyes Laughing

AB has leather all over.... door cards, dash.... headlining..... other trim levels don’t.

Only option I wish mine had is the 1200 watt hi fi.

United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Barolo Black

i just settled for the Vogue i did not really want black either but it came up and i grabbed it. Mileage was 112k partial service history but i could see via the MOT it had been looked after. things like rear shock was a failure and both had been changed same with front suspension arms one had failed but both were new.
Tyres were disappointing so i changed them.
Have had a few issues but dealer has looked after me that way.
I think do not get too hung up on mileage especially if it has been well cared for. 2012 Vogue 4.4 TDV8 - Current

England 2012 Range Rover Autobiography TDV8 Santorini Black

It took me 4 months to find mine. Luckily I was able to increase my budget and I paid 17k for my 2012 4.4 TDV8 Autobiography with 97k miles, a full service history and a 2 year comprehensive warranty.

I nearly didn't go and see it because the interior looked somewhat garish in the photos;

It's nowhere near as bad in the flesh!

Had it nearly 8 months and done 9 thousand miles. It's awesome!

Dunc. The life you have is the only one you'll get; make the most of it.

Some interesting colours there!

When I put the reg no's into Autotrader for a valuation of a likely car I get prices that are about £3k less than people are asking for a private sale. I appreciate all prices are negotiable but is someone going to come down £3k on a private sale? I can understand garages charging extra for the warranty and preparation etc. but is Autotrader that far out?

I haven't bought a car for 8 years but I always thought Autotrader wasn't far out on prices. Shocked

United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Westminster TDV8 Orkney Grey

Not wishing to be picky, but, Coris grey is an L405 colour?
L322 grey would be Stornaway Grey or Orkney Grey [latter day?].
With the difference in price between a late L322 & early L405 it seems a lot of people are keeping their L322's a little longer.
It took me ages to find the right model-colour [exterior & interior] they're out there it just needs a little patience.
For a sub 100k miler I would think you'll be looking at circa £12k-£15k and beyond.
Good luck with your hunt Razz 2012 Orkney Grey Westminster 4.4TDV8 with Ivory interior.........nice!
