| Replaced the front suspension air strut. | |
Well that went well.
After jacking up and supporting the car and removing the wheel the rest of the job, removing the air strut, took 25 minutes.
A 2002 car so was expecting it to take longer and get grief along the way. And It was the original strut from 2002, still had the date sticker on it.
The anti roll bar drop link needed to be replaced as the nut on the ball joint stud just rotated.
A new one cost £12,50 from autopost, which is only 10 minutes away by motorbike so i wasn't held up for long.
All bolted back together 30 minutes later.
If only all jobs went as smoothly.
