Supercharged chrome exhaust tip removal

Hi all can you remove the chrome tips for the exhaust itself if so how? Current stable:
2015 5.0 V8 S/C AB
2006 BMW M6
2007 4.2 V8 S/C FF
Gone:
2002 4.4 V8 FF

The ones on the 5.0 are stainless, you can repolish them, maybe the 4.2 is the same... Pete
