Verifying Service History

Afternoon!

I’m looking at buying a used L322 and am trying to check the service history. I have both the reg number and the Vin and can’t find anything online with Landrover or Topix.

Any ideas?

Thanks

If it has been serviced by LR then a call to a friendly dealership and some chocolate hobnobs may persuade them to check the history on their system....

If it with an Indy then all you can look for is receipts really. Bish.

Get ready for the GDRP push back which they might reply with. Not correct but try telling that to them Rolling Eyes

And a FMDSH means nothing when you can just have an oil and filter change and the main dealer will stamp your book up every time to say it has been serviced according to the schedule...!!!

I found this out when phoning dealers re service history, they gave the information no problem...

"Yes sir it's had an oil and filter change each time"

"What? just an oil and filter change? nothing else?"

"The owner just asked for the basic service, so each time we just changed the oil and filter"

You couldn't make it up...!! Shocked Pete

The Indy that had looked after the major parts of mine sent over copies of the invoices with the customer lines removed, glad I did that as it had some invoices missing (including the gear box flush) - stamps are just that, mean little without supporting invoice

The best main dealers I have come across have been Subaru, great records, easy to deal with while not cheep know there product and sensible with midd life cars - Land Rover, Merc, BMW and Audi are by comparison are a shambles
