Well, johnson rods are grossly over priced, so I bought a set of these

And have to say they are fantastic and do exactly what it says on the tin! Thought I would share as the johnson rods seem to be over priced for what they are. These arrived and the rubber is all genuine land rover and they are like reinforced oem that retain the breakage points as intended with the oem parts. Over all very happy

I actually use this in harmony with the IID tool. So I have fit them and left the 1.5inch lift, but now I have more flexibility in my IID tool adjustment because I am already starting from a higher position. So for off road or water wading you have a little more reassurance

Allow fitment of 33" wheels

And I think my 22's are too big for ride quality.

Haha I never noticed that before assuming they mean 33inch tyres...

I did have 33inch tyres on mine and they were fine with the lift links. But I've dropped down to 32.5 ish!!

If the Johnson rods "trick" the suspension by changing the sensor readings, has anyone simply realigned using the IID tool and the target heights + 40mm? e.g. 533mm instead of 493mm for the fronts and 523mm instead of 483mm for the rear.

I was going to say, if you have a IID tool then you can reprogramme the suspension to your desired heights without the need for the rods! Bish.
